Position: Client Project Manager (6-month Contract)

Location: Remote

Travel: Yes, around 5%

Hourly Pay Rate: $65-$75

Responsibilities:

- Manage multiple client accounts, potentially picking up accounts mid-project and onboarding new ones.

- Facilitate client interactions, both in-person and remote, with the expectation of up to 25% onsite presence.

- Lead the deployment of software solutions into telecom and utility ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration and client satisfaction.

- Utilize technical expertise, including proficiency in tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, to effectively manage project tasks and deliverables.

- Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, prioritizing customer success and fostering positive client experiences.

 

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in mapping projects for utilities or similar industries is highly desirable.

- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a preference for PMP certification or enrollment.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

- Comfort with international meetings and managing multiple implementations simultaneously.

What will you be doing?
- Lead a team of 8 network engineers, with 4 based in North America and 4 working internationally.
- Responsible for overseeing the network infrastructure across 40 buildings and managing 5,000 devices.
- Engage in maintenance, patch work, and project-related tasks.
- 50% operational tasks, including maintenance, patching, and ensuring smooth operations.
- 50% project-related tasks, supporting new development, acquisitions, data center migrations, transitioning from Cisco to Fortinet, and enhancing security measures.

Must-Have Skills:
- Prefer candidates with extensive tenure in a single environment.
- Global Network Management background is essential.
- Ideal candidate should have started as a network engineer and progressed into a leadership role.
- Requires hands-on experience and understanding of technical requirements.
- Seeking an individual with strong technical acumen capable of understanding the network landscape, not solely focused on operations.
- Must possess hands-on leadership skills and be able to switch between technical and managerial roles.
