Job Title: Lead Cloud Architect

Duration: (6-12 Month Contract, Remote)

Pay: $85-$120 hourly, depending on experience

 

Position Overview:

As the Lead Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients as well as managing and leading a team of Cloud Engineers. Leveraging your extensive experience in cloud technologies, you will lead a team of architects and engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that meet the unique requirements of each project. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end architecture design process for cloud-based solutions, including system requirements analysis, platform selection, and infrastructure planning, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements and architecture designs specifically tailored to cloud environments.

3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of architects and engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and alignment with project goals, particularly within the realm of cloud architecture.

4. Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, emphasizing best practices for cloud-native development and deployment.

5. Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, utilizing automation and infrastructure-as-code principles to streamline operations and enhance scalability.

6. Conduct architectural reviews, performance analyses, and capacity planning to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within cloud environments.

7. Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing and architecture, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our offerings and maintain competitive advantage.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction, with a focus on integrating cloud technologies seamlessly into project workflows.

9. Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the organization, particularly in the context of cloud architecture and technologies.

 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience (8+ years) designing and implementing cloud-based architectures, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud-specific challenges and opportunities.

3. Strong expertise in cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, with a track record of successfully architecting and implementing complex cloud solutions.

4. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, with a focus on leveraging containerization for cloud-native applications.

5. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates, with a demonstrated ability to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.

6. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, particularly within the context of cloud architecture.

7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

8. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect preferred, highlighting expertise in cloud architecture and technologies.

9. Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in virtual settings.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer with specialized expertise in developing ecommerce sites, particularly with Magento and Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front and backend development, including ERP integrations, custom theme customization, and functionality enhancements.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ecommerce sites on Magento hosted in Adobe Experience Cloud and Shopify platforms.
- Integrate ERP systems using third-party or custom-built extensions to ensure seamless data synchronization for products, inventory, orders, and customer information.
- Customize and enhance existing custom themes with front end development experience, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality.
- Lead the migration process from Magento to Shopify, managing all development aspects including identifying custom features, configuring Shopify apps, and developing custom functionalities.
- Assess compatibility and develop integration connectors between Shopify Plus and ERP middleware (Malibu) and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.
- Import and transform data from Magento to Shopify Plus, conducting rigorous testing to ensure accurate migration and functionality.
- Test integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 to verify real-time data synchronization and accuracy.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in developing ecommerce sites on Magento and/or Shopify platforms.
- Extensive experience with ERP integrations, including third-party extensions and custom development.
- Strong frontend development skills with the ability to customize and enhance existing themes.
- Experinece with PHP and Ruby development.
- Experience with CDN management is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate internal and external audits for Business Technologies, including scheduling meetings, gathering and reviewing documents, and managing documentation in the audit management tool.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to collect evidence and document the status of audit remediations.
3. Administer compliance functions for major incident post-incident reviews, ensuring the completion of actionable recommendations and vendor management processes.

Experience:
- Preferably experienced in Information Technology compliance, with knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as TSA, Privacy, PII, PCI DSS, etc.
- Experience using ServiceNow Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Vendor Risk Management modules is highly desired.
