Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range: $125K+ depending on experience

 

Required Skills:

  • 10 + years in Storage Architect or System Programmer position
  • 8+ years of Consulting, or team lead experience
  • 8+ years of development, application lifecycle, or change management experience
  • Advanced technical knowledge of IBM System Z, z/OS, and its concepts
  • Expert knowledge of IBM’s z/OS Storage Management Subsystem
  • Previous experience migrating or replacing storage products in a z/OS environment is strongly preferred

Skills needed to be Successful:

  • 3+ years’ System Admin experience with Linux and Windows
  • Have an excellent command of Excel, Google, or other similar spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to navigate Windows and Linus servers for the purpose of gathering information about basic configurations such as server names, network addresses, running processes, and others.
  • Ability to physically interact with enterprise-class hardware in a data center setting for the purpose of gathering information about connectivity, access, location, and others.
  • Basic Vmware vCenter skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the collected data to provide counts, trends, and suggestions.
  • Social skills to interact with users at many levels to provide or gather information.
  • Excellent written skills to produce reports.

IT Infrastructure Engineer

Innovar Group is currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a super-hot industry!

 

Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote in USA

Type: Direct Hire

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and maintain Vantage IT infrastructure
  • Manage VMware 6.x and 7.x virtual environment with Tegile SAN and Brocade switches
  • Setup and configure Windows Servers in VMware virtual environment
  • Administration of Active Directory 2019, Azure AD, Office 365 and Skype for Business Online
  • Design, manage and test data backup and disaster recovery
  • Experience with scripting and automation of administrative tasks
  • Setup, support and manage network monitoring system
  • Manage tasks in accordance with client SLAs
  • Help develop and implement Standard Operations Procedures
  • Interface with internal data center design team, construction team, supporting data center infrastructure augments as needed
  • Facilitate data center commissioning operations
  • Oversee automation system commissioning to ensure the best possible data center performance is maintained

Skills needed to be successful:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT required
  • Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Strong skills with VMware, MS Servers, and Networking required
  • Knowledge of Office365, monitoring systems, databases
  • Proficient with fiber cross-connects, testing and network room build-out
  • Experience with network design and configuration, routers, switches, and firewall

 

 

Pay: around $120k with an annual bonus depending on experience

Service Desk Support Technician x2

Title: Service Desk Support Technician

Type: 5-month contract

Location: Denver, CO

  • Training and meetings every other week onsite

Pay Range: $20+ per hour depending on experience

 

Expected Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical-related issues via phone and electronically through our ticket handling system
  • Act as a liaison between various user groups to communicate problems and possible solutions
  • Develop new and maintain existing technical procedures, documentation, and operational instructions in our organization’s knowledge base
  • Read, understand, and follow technical or other complex materials required for the job.
  • Communicate effectively with customers (applying appropriate soft skills) in both written and verbal forms
  • Install applications using in-house tools (SCCM).
  • Troubleshoot operating system and application issues including Office 365.
  • Interface with customers; including Agency heads and liaisons with wide-ranging technical skill levels.
  • Work with other company groups to find resolution when necessary.

 

The ideal candidate has:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL foundation
  • Previous ServiceNow experience
  • Strong experience supporting end user customers in a Service Desk environment with an emphasis on First Level Resolution (FLR)
  • Experience delivering excellent customer support by being proactive, checking understanding, and practicing active listening.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Focus on efficiency and organization
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting computers, applications, network, and user accounts in a Windows enterprise environment
  • Previous experience with Office 365 and Azure administration
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell
