Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

In this role as HR Business Partner (HRBP) you will support the Investments and Legal employee business units, by providing insights on HR initiatives, programs, and policies to achieve objectives of the organization. This individual must demonstrate a high degree of business acumen, including being knowledgeable of industry trends, practices, and regulations within the asset and investment management world.


  • Works closely with employees and executives to improve work relationships, build moral, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Identify, design, and implement proactive programs and procedures to address root cause issues.
  • Support managers in forecasting and planning talent pipeline for optimal function.
  • Partner with the Talent Development team to identify and implement L&D opportunities to address business issues.
  • Ensure accurate data in HRIS systems. Process employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on all things HR – including, but not limited to: FLMA, PSL, EEO, FLSA, ADA, Title VII, policy guidance and interpretation, compliance, law
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance (coaching, career development, goal setting, rewards, recognition, counseling, employee mediation) that align with current and future performance standards.

Qualifications (Required)

  • 8+ years’ experience in HR
  • PHR or SPHR
  • In depth understanding and experience working for asset management, investment management, or private equity industry organization.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and a vast working knowledge of management and HR policies


The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $132,000, with eligibility for annual bonus, competitive total rewards package & benefits.

-Manage full-cycle recruiting process, and candidate flow through ATS

-Build and execute processes to aid the recruiting team with short- and long-term growth in mind

-Provide all candidates with a world class experience

-Developing strategies for attracting and engaging the best talent (sourcing, events, referrals)

-Owning the process end to end and being relied on by department managers as the Subject Matter Expert for hiring and market trends

-Coaching hiring managers and leading them through the recruiting process


-5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a high-growth technology start-up

-Strong experience driving results through building processes.

-Experience working in ATS – Lever and Greenhouse preferred

-Expert at direct sourcing and networking to provide a heavy pipeline of passive job seekers

-Expert in recruiting tools, and innovative in bringing in talent outside of just LinkedIn Recruiter


This role is offering a competitive benefits package with 401k match, as well as a salary between $102,000 and $127,000 with significant room for growth as their company expands.
