About the Role
We are looking for a Quickbase Developer to help build and support simple, user-friendly business applications. This role is focused on building, updating, and improving existing systems, not cutting-edge engineering or complex software architecture.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and business users to understand what they need, make updates in Quickbase, and help keep applications running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, clear requirements, and delivering working solutions.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Build and update Quickbase applications to support business workflows
  • Make basic improvements to forms, reports, dashboards, and automations
  • Maintain and organize data, tables, and relationships
  • Adjust workflows and processes as business needs change
  • Talk with non-technical users to understand what they need and translate that into simple solutions
  • Fix issues, clean up data, and improve usability
  • Document changes and keep systems organized
  • Support small projects or pieces of larger projects as needed

(This is not a heavy project management or sales role.)

What We’re Really Looking For
Must-Have Skills (Basic & Practical):

  • Experience working with Quickbase (or similar low-code tools)
  • Comfortable building apps, workflows, and reports
  • Able to follow instructions, ask questions, and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience with other low-code tools (Power Apps, Mendix, Appian, etc.)
  • Light Excel skills (filters, formulas, basic reporting)
  • Experience working with business users or internal stakeholders
  • Exposure to Agile or structured project work

Ideal Background

  • Someone with hands-on Quickbase experience
  • Could come from a developer, analyst, admin, or consultant background
  • Practical, reliable, and comfortable working in a steady production environment
  • Not looking for constant reinvention—prefers stability and clarity

What This Role Is NOT

  • Not a hardcore software engineering role
  • Not heavy sales or quota-driven
  • Not a chaotic startup environment
  • Not experimental or undefined work

Who Will Do Well Here

  • Someone who likes clear problems and clean solutions
  • Someone who enjoys improving existing systems
  • Someone dependable who finishes what they start
  • Someone comfortable working remotely with accountability
