Innovar Group is hiring a Construction Quality Manager to oversee quality standards and processes across complex mechanical construction projects. This position will partner with project leadership, field teams, and internal support departments to ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, safety expectations, and established quality procedures.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical construction background, hands-on field experience, and the ability to build consistent quality practices across multiple projects and teams.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain construction quality control processes across assigned projects.

Establish project-specific quality schedules, inspection requirements, and documentation standards.

Lead recurring quality meetings with project management and field leadership teams.

Conduct jobsite walks, construction audits, and quality inspections to identify risks and verify compliance.

Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to confirm project requirements are being met.

Track quality issues, corrective actions, inspections, and outstanding project items through resolution.

Support project teams in developing site-specific quality plans and inspection procedures.

Verify that material, equipment, and installation tracking documentation is complete and accurate.

Review project schedules, short-term work plans, labor forecasts, and installation sequencing.

Partner with mechanical teams to improve planning, coordination, productivity, and installation quality.

Ensure project teams are documenting inspections, testing activities, deficiencies, and corrective measures.

Identify critical mechanical systems and specialized testing requirements.

Coordinate or monitor testing activities such as pressure testing, weld inspections, chlorination, duct testing, and other system-specific verification.

Assist project teams with documenting schedule, quality, or installation impacts that may affect project delivery.

Support project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch-list completion, turnover documentation, and lessons learned.

Facilitate post-project reviews to identify recurring issues and improve future project performance.

Collaborate with operations, project management, field leadership, virtual design and construction, fabrication, procurement, and other internal teams.

Provide guidance and coaching to project teams on quality expectations, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Experience in construction quality control, quality assurance, field operations, project management, or a related construction leadership role.

Strong experience supporting mechanical construction projects.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.

Familiarity with mechanical systems, installation standards, inspections, and testing procedures.

Experience conducting site audits, field inspections, and quality reviews.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple projects and competing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively while holding project teams accountable to established standards.

Comfortable working in both office and active construction-site environments.

Ability to travel to project locations as needed.
