Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Centennial, CO (Hybrid Remote)
Salary: $200K + bonus
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial leadership and a proven track record of managing accounting functions, raising capital, and working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors. This role requires a strategic thinker who can wear many hats, provide hands-on leadership, and navigate the complexities of a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Manage and mentor an accounting team of 4.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
- Work closely with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors to provide strategic financial guidance and insights.
- Oversee the company’s financial planning processes, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial performance analysis.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
- Drive the capital raising process, including debt and equity financing, to support business expansion and operational needs.
- Oversee purchasing functions and work closely with the manufacturing facility to optimize cost structures and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team, contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- CPA or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in managing a finance team and driving strategic financial initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
- Strong background in capital raising, including experience with both debt and equity financing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
