Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and implementing business intelligence solutions for the betterment of the IT organization, then overseeing that these solutions function properly.
- Problem solving and trouble shooting BI solution problems.
- BI Developers must be analytical, and be able to solve issues analytically.
- Writing reports and designing queries may also be required in this position.
Programming skills are a must, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is usually required. A BI Developer is a multi-faceted role, and people interested in this role need to be comfortable with working under pressure and wearing several different hats.
