Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $20–$27 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, motors, pumps, and electrical systems
  • Maintain and repair pneumatic tube systems
  • Handle basic carpentry tasks including flooring, walls, and window coverings
  • Replace and maintain lighting fixtures and bulbs
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of mechanical rooms and work areas
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed
  • High school diploma or GED required
