Development Program Manager – Data Center Connectivity

Innovar Group is hiring a Development Program Manager to lead the delivery of network, telecom, low-voltage, and connected-technology infrastructure across large-scale data center campuses. This role sits at the intersection of technology, design, construction, and operations—ensuring critical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in step with demanding construction and customer delivery schedules.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, preconstruction, implementation, and turnover of data center connectivity and low-voltage infrastructure across multiple campuses.
- Coordinate network infrastructure, corporate and facility networks, wireless systems, security technology, and building-control connectivity.
- Partner with internal technology and operations teams, contractors, engineers, designers, vendors, and commissioning partners to deliver compliant, reliable systems.
- Develop and manage network port schedules, project schedules, scopes of work, budgets, and status reporting.
- Review designs and field implementations for alignment with approved technical standards, basis-of-design requirements, and operational needs.
- Support procurement, cost estimates, bid reviews, and selection of design, construction, and commissioning partners.
- Lead owner-architect-contractor and low-voltage coordination meetings.
- Deliver clear program updates and recommendations for executive-level audiences.
- Improve processes and standards that support consistent technology delivery across a growing portfolio.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 8–10+ years of experience delivering technology systems in mission-critical data centers or similarly complex environments.
- Strong background in network infrastructure, telecom, low-voltage systems, and their integration into active facilities.
- Experience managing technology design, implementation, consultants, contractors, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with BMS/EPMS connectivity, facility networks, wireless access points, security systems, and structured-cabling infrastructure.
- Knowledge of design, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and operational handoff processes.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical teams and senior leaders.
- Strong planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel approximately every other week for two to three days, as project needs require.
Preferred Backgrounds
Candidates may come from data centers, critical healthcare facilities, industrial environments, oil and gas, or other large-scale, high-availability technology infrastructure projects.
