Data Center Project Manager - Connectivity
Location: Westminster, CO
Hybrid / Remote with approximately 50% travel
Compensation: $140,000–$180,000 base salary
Innovar Group is hiring a Data Center Project Manager to lead connectivity and low-voltage construction work supporting mission-critical facilities across the U.S. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who can manage complex Inside Plant (ISP) projects from preconstruction and bidding through closeout—while helping shape the processes behind a growing connectivity program.
What You'll Do
- Lead data center connectivity, structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage construction projects from kickoff through final closeout.
- Own project plans, schedules, manpower coordination, budgets, forecasts, change orders, and overall profitability.
- Support estimating and bid development, including takeoffs, scope review, vendor pricing, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Direct field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and technicians while quickly resolving project and customer issues.
- Serve as a key client contact, providing clear project updates and managing expectations throughout delivery.
- Maintain quality, safety, documentation, punch-list completion, customer acceptance, and final billing.
- Help establish scalable project-management tools, bidding practices, training, and scheduling standards for the connectivity team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of recent project-management experience in data center connectivity, telecommunications, low voltage, structured cabling, fiber, or a closely related construction environment.
- Proven Inside Plant (ISP) project experience. This is not an outside-plant-only role.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, change orders, and customer relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of data center connectivity, network infrastructure, structured cabling, fiber optics, or related low-voltage systems.
- Able to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willing and able to travel approximately 50% to data centers, customer locations, and active job sites.
Preferred Experience
- Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and/or Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with Division 27, TIA/EIA standards, BICSI, NFPA, OSHA, and construction safety requirements.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience helping build operational processes, training programs, or project-delivery standards.
