Senior Project Manager – Electrical Data Center Construction
Location: Centennial, CO | On-site
Compensation: $175,000–$220,000 base salary
Innovar Group is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of next-generation data center campuses supporting cloud, AI, and high-performance computing. This is an on-site leadership role for an experienced electrical construction project manager who can take ownership from project planning through commissioning and turnover.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple electrical data center construction projects through planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risk plans, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate electricians, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Manage procurement, materials, equipment, manpower, subcontractor performance, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor progress, cost, quality, safety, and schedule performance; resolve issues before they affect delivery.
- Review, price, document, and communicate scope changes and change-order requests.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, progress reporting, final deliverables, and invoicing.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with electrical codes, safety requirements, project specifications, and client expectations.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of project-management experience in electrical data center construction or large-scale industrial construction.
- Strong command of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects, project budgets, schedules, change orders, takeoff meetings, and client communication.
- A safety-first leader with sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to solve problems quickly in an active jobsite environment.
- Comfortable being on site most of the time and navigating active construction areas.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- NFPA 70E and/or OSHA certification.
- Experience using Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, Primavera P6, or comparable project-management tools.
