E-Commerce Marketing Technology Specialist

This is an onsite position in Northern Colorado (5 days a week). Applicants must be willing to go onsite.

Title: Ecommerce Marketing Technologist
Duration: Contract-to-hire
Pay Rate: $65-75 per hour

How can you make a difference?

As the Ecommerce Marketing Technologist you will be responsible for the online retail operations of the organization. This includes alignment between customer experience and brand strategy as well as ensuring the optimal use of tools and technologies. This role is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of online stores, as well as being tasked with coming up with new marketing strategies based on the review of business analytics.

Duties:

  • Improve e-commerce visibility, strategy, merchandising, promotions, via use a data-driven decision model.
  • Maintenance of online retain presence using WooCommerce.
  • Ensure proper integration of WooCommerce with various back-end systems.
  • Provide analytics pertaining to campaign performance, KPIs, etc…
  • Provide strategic input on how to achieve e-commerce goals
  • Provide insight into e-commerce space including sales funnel strategy, competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
  • Maintain the integrity of links with proper tracking.
  • Develop SOPs for common and repeated online store tasks.
  • Research and recommend plugins or new functionalities in support of business goals.
  • Keeping up to date with industry and competitor best practices

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related experience
  • 2-4+ years of related experience, preferably in marketing, e-commerce, or retail merchandising.
  • Experience with marketing research, data analytics, reporting, and account/project management.
  • Experience building an online store in Shopify, WooCommerce, Square, or similar software.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
