Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Application Developer with experience in Appian or low code development. As an essential member of client’s technology team, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications crucial to the non-profit organization's success. If you possess a passion for creating efficient and effective solutions, have 2-5 years of development experience, and are proficient in SQL, we encourage you to apply.

This is a remote position with occasional visits to our office in the Denver CO area (no more than twice a month). Applicants must be based in the Colorado area.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement applications using Appian or low code development platforms, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Customize and configure applications to meet specific business needs and integrate them with existing systems and databases.
- Utilize your SQL development skills to optimize database queries, manage data, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve any defects or issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand user feedback, incorporate changes, and continuously improve application functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and tools in application development and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our solutions.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in application development using Appian or low code development platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL development with the ability to write, analyze, and optimize complex queries.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
- Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and end-users.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excitement and passion for contributing to the mission of a non-profit organization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other low code platforms or rapid application development tools.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Previous experience working with non-profit organizations or in a socially impactful environment.
